Anna Cooke's Interests & Activities

Anna Cooke devotes hundreds of hours, often into late night/early morning, and thousands of dollars to support law enforcement and military canine units. She is a tireless animal welfare advocate, having donated over $78,000 and countless volunteer hours over the last two years to benefit retired working dogs so that they can remain with their handlers when their active duty days are over. She has been recognized by several Pinellas County law enforcement agencies, Cops & Canines and the Military Working Dogs Association for her tireless efforts on their behalf. She has authored numerous stories chronicling the lives of officers and their working dogs. "One of the great ironies in life is that often, the very people you have helped the most, take the most from you. If you can rise above that, you will always be the master of your own, and their, universe."
